We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.
Aristotle

“Weak is he who permits his thoughts to control his actions; strong is he who forces his actions to control his thoughts.”

“The most wasted of all days is
one without laughter.”
E.E. Cummings

“Laughter gives us distance. It allows us to step back from an event, deal with it and then move on.”
Bob Newhart

“You cannot be mad at somebody
who makes you laugh – it’s as simple as that.”
Jay Leno

Self-respect cannot be hunted. It cannot be purchased. It is never for sale. It cannot be fabricated out of public relations. It comes to us when we are alone, in quiet moments, in quiet places, when we suddenly realize that, knowing the good, we have done it; knowing the beautiful, we have served it; knowing the truth we have spoken it.
Whitney Griswold

“I did learn that it was the greatest thing in the world to respect yourself. Respect other people.”
Little Milton

“If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is ‘thank you’, it will be enough.” ~ Meister Eckhardt

“Give thanks for a little and you will find a lot.” ~ Hausa

“I would thank you from the bottom of my heart, but for you my heart has no bottom.” ~ Native Indian

He is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not, but rejoices for those which he has. ~ Epictetus

Courtesies of a small and trivial character are the ones which strike deepest in the grateful and appreciating heart. ~ Henry Clays

I was speechless when I saw these quotes from a Native American person. There are many worthy people that I still do not know.

Do you think this is education America? It is from a Native American.

When you look at yourself in the mirror — what do you see?

Standard

What I saw in the mirror and how I saw myself in my mirror changed a LOT over the years. Here is a poster about beautiful people and what beauty means to me. I stole it from a status msg from facebook. 🙂

How do you know who you are? You just have to take a look in the mirror.

What do you see? Is your reflection the same or has it changed over time?

How do you know how karma has affected your life?

Take a another look in the mirror.
How do you see yourself in the mirror? What do you see in your eyes and in your image?

Look deeply into your eyes to see what you appreciate about yourself when you look in the mirror and to see how karma has shaped your life.

Beautiful people do not just happen.

Are you Happy in your happiness model? A must see!!!

This the picture, you and path to happiness? A picture I don’t understand to be honest.

This visual statement reminds me of a straight road — for shopping!

Let’s ask this of ourselves for how many of us happiness is independent? and for how many of us it is dependent? And for how many happiness is constant? 🙂

Is there something wrong with you if your happiness is not constant America? And is it necessary that it be in a bottle?

To accept unhappiness as part of life is India. We are put here to do Karma. Have you heard the Indian’s Raagas anyone? Going inward with acceptance is priceless.

Unhappiness or happiness is the platform we must observe— our bodies must undergo it. To value its experience makes your life rich.

Our lives have been written and rewritten.

We are here to understand life and living through our yogic experience.

Where we understand our approach to that higher power in the way we have understood our battles, failures and victories is to understand our bodies experience here on this earth of the self.  Our cyclic journey through this universe.

Let it be that happiness be the rating of the way you live your life.

Quote from Swami Vivekananda

I have been asked many times, “Why do you laugh so much and make so many jokes?” I become serious sometimes–when I have a stomachache! The Lord is all blissfulness. He is the reality behind all that exists. He is the goodness, the truth in everything. You are his incarnations. That is what is glorious. The nearer you are to him, the less you will have occasions to cry or weep. The further we are from him, the more will long faces come. The more we know of him, the more misery vanishes.

I love this quote, especially the words he is the reality behind all that exists and the truth in everything.
