#8.8 (Gita chapter 8 verse 8)
paramaṁ puruṣaṁ divyaṁ yāti pārthānucintayan
abhyāsa-yoga-yuktena – that which is to be exercised or studied from (abhyasa) is the mind, body spirit connection to our experience here (the yoga) to be joined with to be a fit person (yuktena)
cetasānānya-gāminā – solely (ananya) in own doing/actions (cestasa) to recollect and reflect (gamina)
paramaṁ – supreme is the
puruṣaṁ – person
divyaṁ – the light of which
yāti – is achieved
Pārthānucintayan- partha following in the steps of contemplation
That which is to be exercised or studied from is the mind body spirit connection to our experience here the yoga to be joined with to be a fit person. Solely in own doing/actions to recollect and reflect, supreme is the person, the light of which is achieved partha following in the steps of contemplation.
Another great example of the scripture of mankind.
Thinking of me continuously, with mind trained in the practice of spiritual communion and freed from the tendency to stray away to other objects, one attains to the divine spirit supreme. Looking at the words, thinking of me continuously and mind trained in practice of spiritual communion, I would like to point out people do this in the form of devotion and singing praises and slokas weather it is in hinduism or christianity. Then freed from the tendency to stray away to other objects one attains the divine spirit supreme. There is no tendency to stray away to other objects when there is mind trained in the practice of spiritual communion in the way we sing praises. I must say this, faith is important to have a spiritual communion. This verse is about abhyasa yoga yuktena. Take a look at my meaning.
